He is the author of six books on fitness, lifestyle, and health and is the co-founder of Strength Running, a community dedicated to helping runners achieve their fitness and performance goals. He also writes for Running Times, Competitor. com, and other online publications. Jarboe grew up and still lives in Michigan. He has run many ultras, including the Bighorn twice, summits of the Seven Summits and the Triple Crown of Ultrarunning. He lives in a cabin on the beach with his Border Collie. He is the creator of the popular site The Calm Mind and is the author of The Calm Mind eBook, released in 2014.
